Default Is there a difference between the two intercoolers?

Hey guys, doing a turbo build on a guys camaro. I’m looking a fmic’s for it. I see there are few different styles. The one looks like it has flat square cores on the outside of the intercooler, and the other looks like they angle. Am I just seeing things or are they the same? I was thinking if the one has angled cores going in that would work better for air flow. What are your thoughts?? And does the flat one have more cores running through it than the other one?

the top one looks like tube and fin where the bottum is bar and plate. IMHO the bar and plate intercooler will support more HP and have less pressure drop across it. I am running a CXracing Bar and plate intercooler on my car

Go with the bar and plate.
