Ok, for anyone who cares, the tc78 maxed out 151mph...
I have since changed setups, s480 w/ race cover, dart 225cc heads, same cam, the car has gone 5.6@129, 9.01 @128 it doesn't have a chute so I have been lifting just past the 8th.

It did its best pass on 21psi i turned it up to 31psi and lifted the heads, it will be back out soon.

gives me hope my lq4 tc-78 nova will run 10 flat. turbine is small but still makes power.

th400. 3.31 gears, 28x10.50. when you were th400/3.31 on a 28" what was your rpm's looking like @ the stripe(1/4mile)?

So it was a 1.15 ar?

I have the same turbo but with a .96 ar on a 5.3. Power falls off right around 6k at 15psi/680rw. Where did yours begin to nose over?

I thought I almost had it maxed out the way power falls off up top but now you have me thinking otherwise.

Ive been looking foe. 1.15 at tc78 for a while now. Hard to come by nowadays.

I think comp turbo can get you a 1.15 housing.
