Default Gear ratio?

Just curious what most of you are running for gear ratio?? Post up what you have for car weight, motor, tranny, twin or single turbo and any times that you run at the track.

I'll assume most guys are running 28'' tires.

I plan on running a 3.25 gear with a 28'' tire. 408, 4l80e, twin kit, street car.

when my car was procharged I ran a 3.70 gear. Went 9.80 like that.

Now with the Turbo I run a 3.25 gear.

3420 lbs 385ci sigle 88 Th400 with brake. 3.25 with a 28" tire. Went 8.79@158 like that

So the procharged guys are running a little lower gear? Whats the reason?

I was told that my 4.11 gears are too deep to tun with a turbo set up. When I had my nitrous set up it worked well. The car when it was a NOS set up without me in it weighed 2970 ready to race. I weigh 170. Now with turbo set up I haven't weighed it but with adding intercooler and turbo's, piping etc.... And adding more roll cage it will probably be in that 3100 area. ??? I'm looking at 3.25 or 3.00 with my th350 tranny with a deeper first gear(2.75 instead of the 2.55) and it has a transbrake. Just don't want it to be too low of a gear. Leaning more towards the 3.25.
