I am going to retract my vote for the Lincoln Locker. I trashed mine this weekend (and/or an axle, not sure until I get it open) on my first run, launching at 8 psi. I am swapping to a 33 spline Spool setup.

I actually did a little searching and could not find a FMC Locker. Does Ford still even make one?

Ford used to sell a locker back when they were Ford Motorsport (FMS). Now I guess they are FRPP or Ford Racing or something, I always still think of them as FMS or SVO. Maybe now the only option is Eaton.

Yukon is another who backs their locker with a nice warranty. Not only do they cover their locker but also up to $2000 in collateral damage including parts and labor!

Summit doesn't seem to carry their locker for the 8.8, but they have a nice looking posi unit with four coil springs creating the spreading force. I've seen some like that work well in the past--much more so than the S-springs in the normal traction loks. Maybe they'd last longer with the more aggressive S-spring we were discussion earlier in this thread and the carbon fiber patches on the clutch plates though...
