Question Install Vortech ya or no?

My friend has Camaro SS 2002 manual he want to buy Vortech in increase 134 hp with intercooler. He want to know what other things much change it so there is no problems? Any one has this charger? How do you feel and is there problem after using it?

the only problem with it, is you need to cut the hood on a SS

Yah he will need to clearance the hood.

I'd also install a colder thermostat along with custom programming.

See pic for Camaro Z28 with Vortech under stock hood. I don't see any cut !!

Z-28 hood = NO

SS hood = YES

You have to cut out a part of the air ducts for the ram air on a SS hood

its cutting the underside of the hood, so it would not have been visible in any of pics you posted.

only applies to the SS hood, the way the air goes from the scoop, back to the airbox.
