So my motor is currently being built, 6.0 iron block 408 Stroker, 4L80E Trans is being built, And triple disk circle D converter. SOOO while im waiting another 1-2 weeks I figured its probably a good time to figure out some electronics. Im running a S480R Turbo. I have 95lb EV6 injectors, Snow Meth kit. I am in need of PCM, MAP and need some info for doing SD tune. I plan on getting a PSI wiring harness.

Guess what im wondering is first off for PCM what should I look into getting. PSI website has them all but is there any advantage to a Fbody pcm to LS2/ls3 for boosted applications.

Next im guessing GM 3 Bar map sensor? Or should i be looking for something else? I know the ZR1 is out there but im not sure on the pricing.

And finally maybe a dumb question but what do i need to run SD tune? No MAF? Im about to start getting all my sensors and what not for the engine. I have HP tuners but i need to upgrade it for SD tune.

So basically starting fresh what should i do..

No MAF = speed density mode. Run a 0411 PCM from a 99-02 f-body. Load 02 silverado 4L80e file, load a 3 bar custom OS and start tuning. Pretty simple.

Ok do I need to load 4l80e file if the trans is a full manual? Or would 4l60 file work I guess i just need it to read speedometer

Start with any drive by cable file in it then cause the pcm wont be controlling the trans at all.
