I was running E85 and meth, but I now have an ebay IC that I plan to ad after Super Chevy in 2 weeks. It is only an A2A but I plan on putting it under the front bumper horizontal instead of vertical, but with a slight tilt to act as a air dam. I hope it drops my IAT's down. Mine reach about 217 right now at worst but the weather is cool. I figure I can always add a couple more lbs of boost if it hurts it a little in performance.
You guys are kicking *** on this car. I am curious how you are reading AFR with the Hptuners and what brand AFR kit you have. My LM1 is not working correctly and almost screwed my engine up Friday doing some tuning.
Keep up the great work. It's a bad *** ride and you guys have been very helpful and have probably helped a lot of people get there car faster. Your help is easily what helped me get from 6.20's to 6.0x

Alright. I will look into them. Also, I just wanted to make sure you guys get some credit. I think a lot of people who get a fast car are somewhat hesitant to share their info with others. I can understand why. It probably took them several engines, etc.. to get it right. When someone does give that type of info I am stopped dead in my tracks. So thank you for helping me out.

i agree. but my first pass off the trailer was 8.77 with a 1.35 60'. tightend the shocks 1 click. car went 8.81 with a 1.36 60'. add 2psi boost and loosend the shocks 2 clicks and it went 8.59 on a 1.29 60'

Its more of a controlled wheel spin (theory) gets wheel speed up. Dead hookin you might see a rise in 60ft times. We saw that on a trans am that night. Looser convertor would help in this situation. I think raising the front up some, lowering the travel legnth would be more benificial... its all experimenting for us though.

Radials or slicks?

I've honestly never raced on a slick. I've always raced on radials on pretty tight race tracks here in NC. We set the front as tight as it will go pretty much, lock the travel down in the front end, set the rear end up with a little anti-squat to it where it separates just enough to plant the tire, and pour the coals to it early.
I guess running a slick it works a bit different. So when you loosened the front did it dead hook or just slip the tire less?

Interesting. Have you ever played with weight in the car? I wonder if you were to keep the front tighter, but loosen the rear extension on the shocks if that would of proved faster to the 60' and 330'...keep the front tied down and let it accelerate harder to the 330'. If you can control wheel speed with your progressive it might be faster that way.
