Just trying to learn here, how much pressure is on the cooler circuit? Is it just a temp issue? I was under the impression that it was pretty low, didn't the factory use hose clamps over a flared tube? I know a guy that works for Parker and assures me it's pretty hard to get a push-lock assembly to fail if used right. I have used the stuff for years on oil coolers for vw air cooled builds. Normal to see 120 psi and 250 degree temps, never had one even show signs of failing. Cant speak for any other brands though.

No I called you out for calling me a bullshitter!
They have caused many fires, accidents etc.
You said NO and I told you yes and where to go and research it.
Im just letting others know what CAN happen if using them for trans lines

Hmm my twist tite lines say made in usa on them. Fittings could be made anywhere. As an aside, I like the goodyear push on hose better than the fragola stuff. But putting both in a vice and pullingt as hard as I could I was not able to get either to back off. Maybe some of the earlier stuff was not as good?
