push loc are horrible and have set many cars on fire and crashed many cars because of them blowing off. I would NOT use them at all for trans lines especially if you have a big stall, trans brake and and revving the **** out of to build boost

Just trying to learn here, how much pressure is on the cooler circuit? Is it just a temp issue? I was under the impression that it was pretty low, didn't the factory use hose clamps over a flared tube? I know a guy that works for Parker and assures me it's pretty hard to get a push-lock assembly to fail if used right. I have used the stuff for years on oil coolers for vw air cooled builds. Normal to see 120 psi and 250 degree temps, never had one even show signs of failing. Cant speak for any other brands though.

Really?

I ran it on my last trans setup and it never leaked, hell I picked up teh damn POS trans by those lines.

With the correct fittings, summit rates their twist tite stuff at 250psi. Thats what I am running on my 80e setup.

I made a custom mount on my set up. Its right behind the intercooler. I never see much above 180-190 during 80 degree weather. I have braided -6 all the way.

summit twist tite is made in China!!!
Fragola is made in the USA. Is it worth the leaks?

I hope you Chinese supporters are not leaking in front of me at the track.

No I called you out for calling me a bullshitter!

They have caused many fires, accidents etc.

You said NO and I told you yes and where to go and research it.

Im just letting others know what CAN happen if using them for trans lines

Wait, are you robzquickz28....?

I did not call out anyone, I merely questioned it cause I was unaware, summit says it is/was NHRA approved for ATF.

Multiple personalities much?

Hmm my twist tite lines say made in usa on them. Fittings could be made anywhere. As an aside, I like the goodyear push on hose better than the fragola stuff. But putting both in a vice and pullingt as hard as I could I was not able to get either to back off. Maybe some of the earlier stuff was not as good?
