Lookin good man! Ecited to see what kind of results you get with these turbos, some have said they could be a little too small for what I want to do with my 5.3 so I started leaning toward the On3's 70's....now Im leaning toward a single S475 or S480... I cant make up my mind lol.

I started with vht 2k degree ceramic header paint primer then finished it off with vht flat black 2k header paint. Used this crap before with great results. Only downside is it can run pretty easily. Light coats for sure.

definitely liking this. I have a turbo 5.3 in my 68 and I just picked up a 90 RCSB with a 305/5-speed and been debating on throwing a 5.3/4l80 in it for a daily. with the option of boost later of course haha. good stuff man, can't wait to see how it turns out

Thanks man! Yeah I was digging your build thread, looks great man. As cheap as these 5.3's are, I'll put these in anything lol.

Alright fellas, quick update!

Wastegates are fully plumbed in and vented to the heavens. Blow off valve is plumbed in. Cold side is nicely coated. Gonna start hitting it hard now that the blazer is officially sold and going to its new owner in NY.

Pics!

looking nice man. any plans for a/c? I have seen where some OBS guys are notching their frames for the stock 5.3 low mount compressor. I cut alot of frames in my mini-trucking days, trying not to go back down that road... lol

Thanks fellas!!

***UPDATE

Finished the front suspension tonight. Sitting a lot better now, much easier to lean over the fenders now haha.

Tomarrow I will remove the bed and start on the c-notch and flip for the rear. Why it's off, fuel pumps going in along with solid welded rear diff.

Back needs to be dropped pretty bad...
