U buying new? I've got some piping and stock intake hat I'd sell. It's the piping from EPPs old FMIC kit.

Well I'm piecing it together and have most of the main parts I need. How much for the inlet hat? I was looking for the truck inlet hat though

Can someone tell me the difference between bovs such as tial and the big red bov. Is it sound /loudness or do they perform a certain way. Also whats the difference between being open and closed

When it's open, it's held open by vacuum, which is sourced from your manifold. When the valve is open, it allows air to escape, and you don't make boost. When you roll into the throttle enough to drop the vacuum, the bypass valve closes, and now you start to build boost, well, all of the air being generated out of the blower is being pushed to the motor, and not allowed to escape. When you close the throttle, on shifts for example, vacuum is generated, and the bypass opens, which is needed since the blower is generating a lot of airflow, which would be damaging to the seals of the blower if it weren't released.

They are perform pretty much the same way. I have a standard pro-flo on my setup, but will be switching over to a Tial soon.

$50 plus shipping

Also have a BE Cool radiator for sale. And the chrome radiator support cover for when u get rid of the stock plastic piece.

The Alchemist so what's the difference between the different versions that they sell like you can buy the open big red race bybass valve and you can buy an enclosed big red bybass valve. thanks for all the help

The open is meant to vent to atmosphere. The enclosed valves actually have a 'port' on it, that you can then hook up a pipe/hose to and route it back to your intake hat as some people like to do. Doing that, it is supposed to quiet it down because as you drive around with the bypass valve open, you can hear the extra air rushing out the valve as well as it transmits a little more of the blower whine. The 'kit' version has the bypass valve rerouting the excess air back into the intake to quiet these things down.
