5.3 jeep comanche, on3 76mm

I have just finished up swapping a 5.3 out of a 2001 tahoe into my jeep comanche and want to start planning on turboing it. The jeep will be street driven most of the time but I would like to be able to turn up the boost to run down the track a couple times a year. Thinking about making 450-500 whp and then be able to turn it up a little when I go to the track. Plan is also to do it on a budget.
Specs on the jeep now are,
stock 5.3 with factory pcm and harness
4l80e with transgo fmvb
3700 pounds with me in it
Dana 44 rear with 3.55 gears
Plans for a turbo would be,
on3 76mm
pac 1218 springs
aeromotive 340 stealth pump
ebay rails
Mallory 4305M regulator
undecided on cam but thinking ls6 cam
microsquirt for fuel and spark
KMJ head studs
methanol injection
emusa bov and WG
undecided on injectors
Plan was to get the turbo set up and running on low boost with stock cam and converter and down the road upgrade converter and cam, then turn the boost up. Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated

Cool Jeep...
What are you using for a trans and t/c ?
I really wanted to do this on my 91 Comanche...
35 spline 9", dana 44 front... blah,blah...
Had the 5.3 and a tc78 turbo etc.
Never had the time to finish it...Ended up selling everything.
Will keep a close eye on this build.

This is badass, I'm liking what I see so far. Clean work by the way.
Exhaust and gate out the hood ftw. Reminds me of thw saudi guys with their dune climbers. That's the only way they run a exhaust over there lmao.

Here's an update finally, jeep was finished up spring of last year, cracked a piston before spring ocean city cruise week. Since then the piston was replaced and I have done some more things over winter.
Over winter I added water meth injection, line lock, redid the entire interior/patched some rust holes in the floor, and removed the heater core assembly.
I have been having some problems with tuning the microsquirt, I can not get it to stay at a steady idle afr and a steady afr under boost. Sometimes it stays around a 13.3 at idle which is what it is set at but sometimes it will be around a 11.0. The idle also fluctuates at certain times, other times stays consistent. I have played with the required fuel settings to try to keep it consistent. I also was wondering if the ve table looks okay? I have been using auto tune and it seems like the ve values are not consistent as it the boost and rpms increase. I have some screen shots, any help would be much appreciated.
Right now the jeep is running around 15 lbs of boost, 70/30 meth/water mix, 25 gph nozzle pre turbo, and 6 gph post turbo(as recommended by AIS).
I'm looking to take the jeep to Cecil this Saturday for their test and tune and also race in their outlaw street car shootout the following Saturday.
Soon I want to redo the fender exit exhaust, replace the fender, lower it, and plasti dip the jeep.

I have not had time to mess with it but I have heard that if the numbers are below 20 in the ve table it can cause problems. I have tried to make adjustments to the calculated fuel before but have not had luck.
