I have only seen one set of these in person and they are in a TT 5.3 Mustang. The owner told me they have performed flawlessly. I'm assuming around 600ish rhwp.
I talked to the owner of Hinson Motorsports the last time I was there and he also told me that they have used these pumps and have not had any issues in the cars they have installed them in and said that they should be fine for around a grand at the wheels on the corn.
I can't decide if I am going to give these a try or not.... I guess I will have to see after some more people use them.

Dont forget, that when used at normal EFI pressures even on normal petrol, the 1800hp claims fall well short.
More like half of that.
I guess running 4 pumps like that can make sense. They are a neat package, and when all are running it is overkill. So at least even if one fails, you still have an excess of fuel.

Correct.
Main reason though is it eliminates any surge problems with having a large main tank, and fuel potentially sloshing away from the pickup
And saves any mucking about modifying the main tank.
It seems less common in the US, as you mostly drag guys just seem to sump the tanks as fuel only goes rearwards.
But an external swirl, surge, whatever you want to call it is a pretty easy and versatile way of building a solid fuel system

You should be fine. I'm running the 12-800 with 120lb injectors, 45psi base pressure and E85 without any issues. I haven't had it on the dyno but at 14psi, 3250 race weight I've been 9.44 @ 142 (mid 700RWHP based on most calculators). I've had it up to 23.5psi for a brief moment and didn't show any signs of fuel starvation.

reason for surge tank has been answered by others!! I actually maxed out 2 of the walbro e85 450lph pumps @ 24psi and 1148rwhp and rapidly rising hence the reason to go 2 dominators and a new tank !! should go 1200ish on pump e85 will know soon yes its setup on 1 pump and at 6ish psi kick in the other 3 !!! street strip wagon !!! cheers
