power gain with 243 heads over 706 Just curious what the power gain would be from going to 706 to 243 heads would be on a turbo 5.3? I'm currently running a ls6 cam and 76mm turbo. I'm curious what the power gain would be on the same amount of boost.
The gain would be from the slightly larger intake valves of the 243s.... but unless you milled them you would lose a little compression as the chambers are 64cc vs. 61cc.

Once you take into account new head gaskets and head bolts/studs it may not be worth doing unless you are going for big power numbers and need LS9 head gaskets/studs to begin with.
