Same here, unfortunately my local track closed already for Friday night due to a lot of rain in the forecast. So even if the weather holds to get my car tuned, which it probably won't, I won't be able to run it til next Wednesday.

You got me beat. I just talked to the guy finishing my car up, all that is left is the coil pack relocation and installing my turbowerx exa pump for my drain.

With the 76gts the drain had about a 1"-1.5" drop which was fine because it didn't smoke at all. The pt88s center section must be 3" taller because the drain had a 2" rise to get to the oil pan. So I had to spend the coin on a pump. What's another 400 dollars on a build like this anyway :-/.

You should just be glad you didn't get the 12 inches of snow we got last night/today!

It started raining about 5 hours ago here in stl. I know the season has just began, but I'm going to stangkilrs meet in kc in 2 weeks. The car will easily be ready by then, but I need some seat time in it. The last time I drove it, it was a h/c/I six speed car making maybe 450 whp. The fastest thing I've driven in the past 2 years was my tuned 13 second ecoboost f150, and I don't even have that anymore. I've been driving a new slow duramax lol. It might go low 15s.

Ouch, we were just in the 80s and now we hit the 50s. It will be like this all weekend, go figure, the weekend I took off to enjoy my car. It is suppose to be nice all next week, so it should get street tuned by DSX tuning Monday or Tuesday night. Then dynoed and some low boost passes Wednesday.

Thanks a bunch. Idk about perfect, but I'm really happy with the way it is turning out. I'm already thinking about what I'm going to do to it next.

Yeah, we had upper 70's on Tuesday which was the hottest it's been so far this year and then the next day was like we moved to Alaska. Good luck with the tuning next week. I'm kind of anxious to see how they compare to mine!

I really can't even imagine what it's going to feel like. I'm sure just 8 psi will be a riot.

Martin or anybody for that matter, would you happen to know what turbos are physically the same size as the OP's but are larger in reference to the compressor wheels?

I have an OFI t6 kit and would like to run an AES 410 with it.

A gt91 with a t6 housing would be pretty close. The guy who put the gt4788 comp wheel in my pt88 Said he could have put a 91mm in there as well.

Chris at CRT offers a 88mm that is similar in size to my pt88 but is worth a lot more power. He is the one that did the work on my turbo. Here is a link.

No Chris's hp8811 dwarfs the pt88. Not even the same realm of physical size

I went from the standard pt88 to the hp8811.

Pt88 is around 8" diameter turbine housing and compressor housing.... the 8811 is over 10" on both sides

Pt88 weighed 29lbs.. hp8811 was 46lbs

93mm turbine vs 111...

Maybe I'm thinking of a different turbo he carries. I went and visited his shop and took my H compressor cover from my 76gts and the compressor cover he carries was with in a inch of mine. Now the turbine side is much bigger.
