What fuel, boost, afr, timing, iats ect did you see failure and what exactly did you break? 600 seems kinda low.

Default quick question

anyone know if the APR rod bolts and main studs will fit the ls3 rods and mains? I have them from my blown ls1 motor and would like to reuse if possible.

in answer to above question apparently they do, so I will have an all ARP long block again, just with head studs vs bolts this time

Default a little progress

Gates and BOV arrived

LS7 lifters and trays

tearing down the block

Some marks on the walls where the lifter trays go, anyone seen anything like this? the trays were intact and the lifters showed no signs of wear

block in the back of the honduh ready to get hot tanked and have the rings gapped a bit for boost

im sure many of us have had a tool cart looking like this at one point or another

all the bolts bagged and tagged next to the rest of the top end parts

anyone have a good way to clean up the valves before I reinstall or a suggested clean up procedure?
