S480 on a 383 is a great choice with the 1.32 T6 housing.

Cam it properly and it will be a beast....give Martin a call at Tick or PM him on here. He just spec'd me a cam for a relatively similar combo. He knows his stuff! Really excited to see what it does!

Why use aftermarket heads if you're only shooting for 800hp?

That turbo is perfect for a 383. I'd be more than happy to do a cam for your set-up.

Cant wait, i'll hit you up when the time comes. i'm on the fence as far as heads go and would like to get an estimate as to what kinda power im looking at with a 5.3 stroked to 383 an the s480 at about 15-20psi, through a th400 with 3500 stall and 8.8 with possibly a 3.08 gear

Main reason im doin forged and everything is a buddy and i are having a friendly rivalry, he's doin a junkyard 5.3 budget build on his 71 camaro an always has somethin to say an thinks im retarded for doing forged, my arguement is why build it to break an have to rebuild all the time when you can build somethin strong that will last, yes his way is cheaper "right now" but in 5 yrs he's gonna be through a few motors an have to rebuild all the time which could be time spent at the track and on the street. i think my 383 fox coupe with s480 will put an end to the disagreement

You're going to make a lot of power that is for sure! What heads have you been contemplating?
