1957 Chevy all Fiberglass turbo ls Build Figured I would start putting some pics of my build here, and when I say build I mean build lol it from scratch .....
Process as of June 2013
*Fabricated / welded complete chassis
*Narrowed rear and built with 3.00 gear all aluminum center and 42 spline axles
*Bent and tig welded 12 point cage
*Purchased 2002 5.3 with 74,000 miles
The plan is to build an stock long block with a GT2-3 cam and springs , 78mm precision turbo, turbo 400 with trans brake, microsquirt with intercooler and meth/water injection will be a street car mainly.

Here is a couple of my projects
I have built many Blow thru stangs, Turbo bikes and used to be a bottle baby lol
Here is The Pumpkin 582 bbc with 500 shot on it .. It runs mid/low 9's on motor and the 500 shot makes it a little faster lol
I built the headers, they are 2.5 primary and 5 collector kinda massive but they not restrictive lol

2002 302 r block hi port heads, 750 carb and GT45
It went 9,30 @149 first pass on the set up with a 10.0 AFR, so I leaned it up ( with boost ofcoarse lol) it got a lil skwerly on the big end and the car was sold the next week lol I had built it for a local guy around town and he was used to big tire cars and didn't like the thought of that kind of power on small tires .... I fabbed the entire kit tune the car
The Black engine bay was my 1990 notch had a 351 Windsor with victor jr heads and a home built 750 Blow Thru carb and a glide with 327 gears I drove it daily, had great street manners it made 1240 rwhp at 32 lbs of boost
On 17 lbs and street tires it would run 9.47 @ 147

Got a lot of parts in this week, something just aint right about getting that excited when another man shows up with a big brown truck lol...
Got my megasquirt in

Zeitronix wide band
2- 400 lph walbro in tank pumps

And a soon to be abused 5.3 with 60,000 miles

I purchased a 20 gallon aluminum cell for gas and a 3 gallon aluminum cell for water / meth
Probably will not end up as light as it should cause I'm always over designing Stuff lol

Yes sir. Us body built it. Body, doors one piece front end
Trunk and bumpers. Not sure what it will weigh but I'm hoping 3000 or so???? I want it real tight and built nice for a true street car. Finished with nice interior and a/c

nice, those are good guys there. been helping me with my build. I was there when they were building your body. It's a pretty neat process to watch. I don't think you'll have a problem staying under or around 3000. My truck all steel still is 3100. It's about to get some US Body treatment though. looking forward to seeing how yours turns out!

nice, those are good guys there. been helping me with my build. I was there when they were building your body. It's a pretty neat process to watch.
