Thanks, bmr k member..

You need a boost gauge to read boost, I think you mean why am I running an electronic boost controller plus a boost gauge?

If so, it's because I purchased the boost/vac gauge when I was going to run a manual boost controller.. Then decided to add an eboost2 in the mix, so I left it in there..

Plus I hear mechanical boost gauges are better than an electric one..

My motor is very close to yours. Not sure on what cam you're using. But I'm using twin 61mm turbos over a single.

Nice, I'm using the speed inc turbo cam (TU1)

Should be a very stout engine

Got the DS in, set pinion, finished fuel line/filter, mounted dumped pipe off the downpipe!

I didn't plan on the whole "Superman" theme red/blue, lol!

But it looks cool I guess

Sweet build!! I'm collecting parts now to eventually do a turbo build on my '99 Z28. How much more power will the iron block hold than my stock aluminum one?

A little more, mainly get some arp main, rod, head bolts and the aluminum will last a long while..

What power level?

Thanks! I'm almost done, it's been a roller coaster.

It's fought me every step of the way lol my stock trans pan was leaky and I tried to bang it out and I finally tossed it..

I have pics from today, all I need to do is add the new TCI trans pan and fill the fluid up and coolant.. And I should be able to do my first start up!

I tried firing it up, it started and idled real high for a split second then died.

Tried a few times and same thing, I'll wait to hear back from my tuner and see if we can adjust the break in tune..

Default Update! First start up!

ok tuner adjusted the break in tune and it fired right up with it, idled steadily @ 1,050 rpm

AFR was 11.5 for the first 10 seconds then dropped to 10.3 and that's when I cut the car off after a few more seconds to get a log..

no oil or trans leak so that's a plus...

Oil pressure was a steady 50psi @ idle

fuel pressure was 50 psi or so, need to raise it to 58 tomorrow for the second attempt..

I shot a quick crappy vid from an iphone and it's sideways but you get the idea...

I'll have more vids up soon (in the daylight)

also looking to dyno tune next week, If my injector O rings can hurry up and get here from katech!!! found a boost leak around my SD 80 lb injectors.

like I said, this car is fighting me every step of the way
