Default Gt 4294 big enough?

In your professional opinions will a Garret 4294 t4 be big enough for a 370 cu in motor with stock 317s and a cam that will peak around 6800? Looking for around 700 rwhp The specs are as follows:
GT4294
journal bearing
T4 flange
compressor: inducer 70.3 mm
exducer 94 mm
turbine: 82mm
A/R turbine housing 1.28

No one? I am not experienced enough to know what I'm looking at when it comes to a compressor map. I do know there are some 6.0 cars with a turbonetics 7575 in the 700s. Some one educate me LOL The Garrett website says 425-850hp and 2.0-7.0 liter applications.

I would think with the A/R that large it may be a little laggy but you are a stalled auto so it shouldn't matter. Sounds pretty good.

Or I could be a smartass and just tell you to go with a 105 thumper.

LOL true. If I had the money and my choice it would be a pt88. But I might have a hell of a deal on the gt 4294. I would think with that AR it should have enough lungs to turn at least 6500 huh?

A/r isn't going to allow it to spin that high if the turbine is too small. What's the trim or exducer on the turbine? Also, a 70mm compressor is REALLY small.

IMO, the only lsx I would run that turbo on is a 4.8. It would be a monster on a 4.8 but it's too small for a 370 IMO

Unless that 82mm turbine is the exducer and not the inducer then I would run it on a 5.3 too, but the compressor is too small for a 370

Too small IMO. A 4202 might do it but pk will be way before 6800, more like 6000~6200.

While a tad bit on the small side, I personally see no reason why you cant meet your goals. I would switch to a T6 exhaust housing and a ~1.0 AR on the exhaust.

You can also have the compressor modified to fit a 74mm from a 4202.
