Default Turbo Exhaust

I've seen plenty of Bumper exits but is there anyone that has ran 4-5" exhaust all the way out the back of an fbody?

Im pretty sure ssvert has but is there anyone with some pics?

Im sure quite a few people have. Really depends on your rear suspension setup for clearances. Getting it over the axle could be a pain in the ***.

Yeah over the axle might be a pain but I know that MWC has a "double drop" crossmember with a DSL that will clear up to a 5" Exhaust...
Might have to dump it before the rear axle though

I believe their watts link setup also has good clearances.

Are you planning on merging from lets say a 4" pipe to a 3"? Or 4" all the way?

Id like to get a 4-5" DP depending on turbo, installing a cutout and then running a 4" all the way out the back.

My friend ran a full 4" all the way back, over the axle in the factory spot and out to the rear bumper with his 408/S88 camaro. Car ran 8's and was pretty damn quiet.. like full exhaust/magnaflow catback quiet..

Idk if these will be of much use to you but its all i seem to have left of pics of this setup (car was sold 2 years ago)

in the last pic you can see the angle he was going for to get it over the axle. Hopefully these pics at least give ya a little inspiration.

Thats a good lookin setup but it wouldnt work for me, im trying to keep my a/c. Using the C6 manifold and having the a/c doesnt leave any room to run the exhaust on the passenger side. I wonder if there is a good way to run it down the drivers side and crossover around the trans without having ground clearance issues?

have you thought of maybe using two 3 inch pipes running parallel to each other the whole way back? would help alot with the ground clearance your looking for and be a little easier to maneuver.

I wonder if there would be enough clearance to run the DP down the passenger side if u flipped the pass. side manifold up and forward instead of using the C6 manifold?

I have but Im still not sure. Im just trying to figure out how Id get the DP from the drivers side to the passenger side without having any issues.
Anyone else done this, 5" DP into dual 3" with a cutout?

Agreed^ Sounds like a tough challenge. You can probably get a 4" to fit through but theres one way to find out.

What K-member do you have OP?

I will be going with a MWC Kmember.

I'm still trying to figure out what Turbo I'm gonna go with but I was wondering, is it possible to flip the passenger side manifold up and forward instead of running the C6 Manifold?

If I did that I wonder if I'd have enough room to run a 4" downpipe through the passenger while still retaining the AC.
