Default 6-Bolt FI Motors

Which builder does the best 6-bolt FI motors? Looking for a larger bore( 4.200" ), o-ringed, high boost setup.

As I said before in your other thread, the best bang for the buck is the ERL block.

Lol not even.

Proline hands down takes the cake if you have some coin to spend.

He said bang for the buck and proline doesn't qualify there.

ERL makes some nice stuff. My friends TT 5th gen makes 950rwhp with their 6 bolt superdeck. Only other mod is a cam. Once he gets heads and bigger diameter exhaust he plans to turn it up. They are priced right and proven performers.

ERL Cant beat their blocks for the price.

Proline is a lil too $ for what the OP needs.

My next block will be ERL. Nice guys, nice stuff, reasonably priced. Ill get one next year for the X. They can handle more than 950rwhp. people are doing that on 4 bolts.

364-390 would be ideal for one. all that bore is un necessary for boost in most cases. keep the cushion in it. the thicker internals and room to grow will always be there later on.

The only problem with that is going to be your head selection. The 4.030 bore limits the head you can use.

When you go to the AES 410 cube setup or anybodys 410 big bore short stroke, it allows you to use a better head with the 4.130 bore. You can use All-Pro LSW's or LS7's with that bore or even a stock LS7 head.

ERL can build a 409" engine, which is what Ray had.

can't really say it better than all these guys... most of our Big boost blocks 1,500+HP are shorter stroke which allows you to do a lot of other upgrading elsewhere and have our new O-ring setup on it. I'll send you a PM and we can talk more about your goals. Look at some of the top radial guys and you'll see our work.
