Turbo torque converter decision HELP! Hello guys last year i decided to jump in the turbo wagon and make my 99Z turbo.This is my first turbo build so im learning in the process i have no experience with turbo LS. At the beginning my thinking was a Lq9 with s480 ,th400, 3.55 gears.
Now it is a completely referent combo forged 408 ,317 castings with SS 2.08/1.55 valves fully ported , s480 but in the future thinking to go with s488, Edelbrock XT Pro Flow intake, TH400, thinking to go like 3.27 gears. Marting @ Thickperf going to spect a cam. Now my dead end is how stall to spect my converter?
The car going to be more of a Drag Racing car and a weekend toy.
What converter you think can take maximum potential out of my combo?

If you have to choose from Circle D,PTC or Yank to make a converter for turbo drag car which one you choose and why?
