I have contemplated this for quite a while and I just decided to put on an ls6. I plan on shifting before 7k so it should perform great imo.i can always experiment later on with a proflo or something .

Victor Jr. Accufab 4 BBL throttle body. Carb hat.
Fits under my flat VFN fiberglass hood. Trimmed the cowl and kept the passenger side wiper.
Other than that an LS6 or LS2 is the way to go.

they are all honestly good. the thing that you have to figure out is will it complement what you already have on your engine? no point in buying an intake that flows like a tornado at 7k plus if your only gonna shift at stock red line!
does anyone know what the OP had as his engine combo? He never mentioned anything other than it was a 5.3

So with the vic jr and elbow you lose your wipers also? Currently have a ls6 and plannning to go turbo this winter. Very interested in this stuff also. Also how much does a vic jr and elbow setup cost?
