Went to the track last night in my 02 Camaro SS. Car is a stock bottom end ls1 with 51k, ls6 cam, dana 60 with 3.54, kytp (unfortunately) pt7675 on 12lbs. Car has 12 degrees of timing in it at WOT (extremely safe). ET street radial 2 on 17 psi. 295/45/17. Th400 with a brake (not hooked up), Circle D converter.
Attached is the slip and the video of its last pass of the night. Hopefully the video (sbe ls1 pt7675) works. Never put a video online before. Made 4 total passes.
1st 11.10 at 128
2nd 10.96 at 126 (let out on the big end)
3rd Aborted
4th 10.80 at 128

Just a starting point. Going to put a few more degrees in it when it cools off. Car made 605 rwhp last summer through a 6 speed. Didnt want to get to crazy on the sbe ls1. Video shot from a phone

And I agree, looks like that video came straight off of a vhs recorded with a potato. Car runs great though!

I pulled a lot out and ramped it in slower. It would blow the slicks off at 40mph before, Ive got it so I can get on it at about 30mph and it hazes the tires but actually accelerates pretty hard with the michleins...lol. Its hilarious how well they work. Thanks to low timing.

We weren't trying to make the best passes with this setup. Just wanted to drive the car to the track and run 10s in the heat. We accomplished all of that. I am in the process of hooking the transbrake and 2 step up. I am also in the process of looking for a 5.3. Going to do a forged shortblock with 799 heads this winter.
When we head back this winter we will turn it up some and see if we can get it into the 9s.
