Default ??Safe starting point for timing on 10psi??

My car is running 18.5 deg total (stock timing table) right now with 5psi. How much should I drop off of that to have a safe base setting. Thanks.

I'd try 14 and go up 2 degrees at a time until you see KR. Log the runs and back out if you hear knock during a run.

One word of advice, log the timing with a scanner and make sure you are actually getting the values you have set in the tables.

On some PCMs (like my 2002 c5) there is a table that adds timing based on PE enrichment). The table is there on all years but it is usually zeroed out. The table finally showed up in the latest version of ls1edit, but caused me major headaches for quite some time.

Thanks.

My laptop is usually riding shotgun most of the time anyway. My timing is also pretty consistent with the table.
I don't remember seeing a P/E vs. timing table but I'll take another look. Version 1.4 right?

I'd try 15 degrees of timing to start.
