Default Boost control using one WG on a twin scroll setup

Just curious if anybody ever just vented one side of a dual scroll setup and was able to control boost effecttively.

That's a odd one, I would just run a mini merge from bank to bank to your gate

it may work, but would be a very bad way to do it.

If you insist on using one w/g, at least run two pipes and them merge them with a divided Y into the gate, so both sides are kept separate right up to the gate.

But as a V8 wont be true twin scroll in the normal sense in the first place....keeping them divided probably isnt as important as a 4 cylinder

I run 2 40mm gates, 1 in each side of the divided hot side.
Costs more for the second gate, but seems to work flawlessly
