I went with the gt45 from dna, thanks for the advice and the links, I was curious if there was much difference between the intakes with boost. On the injectors 80 won't be to big?

Some 60lbs could have done more than good. Unless you want to run E85 which I couldnt see it in the thread. Lol

I think you'll be happy with the dna motoring GT45. It will spool up quickly for you and is a good entry level "bargain" turbo.

As for the injectors, the 60's will carry you to the edge of your goal, but the Siemens 80's will give you room to grow and are tuner friendly (high fidelity). If you follow any of denmah's builds, that is what he uses:

"i use 80lb siemens deka injectors in every car i build, great tunability stock ecu and megasquirt, flexible, large and most cost effective at 330 shipped usually" ~denmah.

The rule of thumb is 10x injector size = rwhp. So 60 are good for 600 (Safely). 80's are good for 800 rwhp (Safely).

Boost is soooo addictive and when you get to 600 rwhp you'll be pissed that you cant crank it up 5 more psi because you bought undersized injectors. You'll think "I can sell these 60's and get 80's". Nobody will buy your used 60's and you'll be out another $300-400 just to dial up 5 more psi.

They are going to cost you the same right now (and perform the same up to 600 rwhp), just get the 80's and you won't have to ever worry about being on the edge of safe (running lean... boom).

Trust me, it's like going with a TH400 instead of a TH350. The TH350 will get you to your current goal, but when you want to up the boost a little bit more, as we all eventually do, you'll be glad you have the TH400 in the car instead of the TH350. Think of it along those lines... whenever you can overbuild something for nearly the same price, do it. It also gives you room to play with E85 eventually. Same thing with the F90000267 fuel pump, if you think their's a remote chance that you want to try E85, get that over the 90000262 pump. It'll be better for you in the long run and doesn't hurt anything right now.

Again... you'll thank me later for these words of advice on the injectors.

Also, side note, remember EV6 connectors when using truck harness (LM7 engine, etc), EV1 connectors when using car harness (Camaro/Firebird, LS1, etc).

Actually, I think you're right... I'm getting myself confused crossing platforms here. I think they are taller though...maybe that's what I'm thinking.. I'm getting myself confused now... now I have to go and check for myself.

Good catch!

Maybe it's LS2/LS3 use the EV6 style connectors and the LS1/LM7 etc use the EV1 style.

Fuel injector guru's please chime in...

ls2/ls3 uses ev6
ls2/ls6 uses ev1
lm7/5.3 truck uses mini Delphi (I think that's what it is called)

ls2 intake use short injectors
ls1/ls6 intake use tall injectors
