LSA heads will work more than fine. I would give them a shot before buying something else.

Ya I'm getting them machined for the 4.125 bore.

I'm interested on the outcome of all this. Old setup stock lsa (376ci) w/ twin GT3076R's 810rwhp @ 21psi

I'm thinking well over 1000rwhp with the 427lsx and 6266's. not bad for a daily driver 2009 Cadillac CTS-V

Found a set of CNC ported heads LS7 bare and I happen to have a set of Titanium valves to go in them.

I think this setup will work perfectly on heavy V those turbos will spool very fast on 427ci and will make great mid range power & TQ.
Lots of C6 ZO6 Running them and making 1000+rwhp 900+rwtq.

Good luck and looking forward for the updats

Any updates on these 6266s?

Im deciding which would be better on my HKE built 427LSX with Mast black label LS7 305 heads. I was thinking the PT 6766s would be a better fit but after crunching some numbers i am now thinking the 6266s will keep me more centered on the efficiency islands based on my goals

2011 Camaro, street car M6, Gforce 9" rear/driveshaft, full Pedders road course suspension, Mcleod RXT clutch

Looking for 1000whp on 96 octane(i blend with Torco) with meth. With the ability to go to 1200whp later.

No 1/4 mile but do plan on the occasional track day at a nearby road course.

My concern wth the 6766s is that i may be too far to the left on the maps and near the surge limits since at 1000whp i wont be pushing these very hard at all.

I cant imagine 67's being anywhere near the left. I still think 67's would be on the right side of peak efficiency, especially on a 427.

But really doesnt seem to be a lot of people out there with builds that are up and running

I'm now debating some S366's with a billet wheel and 68mm turbine. Or possible from a cost point of view, the S363 cast wheel and 68mm turbine. These are mega cheap.
Or Comp's CT4-6767 billet, which use a big shaft and smaller compressor housing than the BW.
The talk of the small diameter shaft in the Precision just worries me when they will be working so hard.

Also waiting on a price from Work Turbos, for a Garrett based unit.

I think the best thing about a Precision or Comp based unit, you'l have a huge choice of turbine housings to play with.

The comp units seem to do a badass work when it comes to twin turbo setups. Really efficient and great quality.

Wait a min. Lets get some facts right.

Tim made over 1300 on 6235's. PTE's hybrid turbo. Uses a 62 compressor wheel and a gt35 exhuast wheel. Makes more power than a normal gt35.

I still think your goal of 1300 is very easily we gotten with 6266's. but the exhuast housing you decide will make a difference.

Tim's housing was not a t3 or a t4. More like a unique one down the middle.

Who did you buy the turbos from? Those vbands will die really fast with a 427. You get to much back pressure. My buddy used them. 427 with 6766's. and we could get much over 1200. Called PTE. They said the vbands work great till you get some big cubes trying to push air in them. We switched to a t4 housing and turned the boost down and hit 1400 with out trying hard. They were a big laggier. But still fine.

Best of luck to you. Please keep us posted on results.

On the stock LSA w/ gt3076r's I made 810rwhp @ 22psi. With the 6266's I would "think" 1200rwhp it should be fine.

TCI and JW had a Flexplate back order so we have been waiting. It arrives today and the motor is ready.
