bumper is pretty simple to pull off. I think we got my buddies off in about 5 minutes.

Hopefully the clutch won't be an issue... I'm running a spec on my camaro and so far is hanging in there with 780rwtq... He also adjustable clutch master cylinder and new slave cylinder.

Here's is an update we used an lt1 fbody radiator hold down to support the radiator on the vette... Worked like a charm.

Your heater hoses cleared underneath the front part of the turbo manifold? My kit was literally laying on the rubber hoses.

Also glad to see my intercooler working for ya!

Yes it cleared but it's very very close but I also wrapped the manifold n down pipe... we did run into a problem. Since this is a T-series not a TC the coolant expansion tank is hitting the compressor housing. I know Canton sells a nice tank but where having one made for free. Another issue we ran into was the piping that connects to the rear axle back didn't line up at all. That intercooler saved us a lot of time and looks great and fits great awesome!

Nice build! I'm actually currently building a similar kit from scratch to go on my 03Z

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-f...c76-build.html

Just a heads up. Watch your hood clearance where you were mocking up your catch can and meth pump. The bulkheads for the brackets on the stock hood actually rest down between the radiator and the frame. I ran into an issue when I moved my radiator too far forward and they wouldn't clear.

I would buy a canton tank to replace your stock surge tank. I have a hinson kit and my stock tank exploded on me.

@ ghost-1 which turbo are you using with your kit? The stock tank had to be relocated or buy a tank from canton. A friend of ours made one for us. I do notice the engine coolant temp running a hotter than it did before even with a 160* thermostat.

Nice build!

I will be starting a build thread in the next few weeks when all my parts get in. I have a 99 C5 with:

07 LS2
317 heads
ARP rod bolts and head studs
Little 228 turbo cam

Doing a single PT7675 cea
Turbosmart Raceport BOV and 60mm wastegate

E85

My kit should be coming to the market soon as well : )
