Default C5 turbo kits

Just looking for some opinions on any turbo kits out there. I had a ptk but wasn't happy at all with it. I have looked at TTi and Lingenfelter kits....... also may even consider doing a blower kit. Looking to make around 800rwhp.

I would do a blower on a Vette, and I'm a Turbo guy. Contact ECS and get their Novi 2200R Kit.

That was one of my options along with the A@A kit.

The ProCharger C5 kits work very well. http://shop.brutespeed.com/97-04-Cor...S6-Z06_c15.htm

Back at the old shop we built a combo for a guy for road course practicing. The ProCharger twin intercoolers worked very well at 16 psi with methanol injection, and they left the front of the radiator clear for allowing as much airflow in as possible on a C5. We started out for two years with the stock block and stock crank, and ran a D-1SC at 16 psi and it made 740 rwhp on the Mustang Chassis Dyno. This was with a small cam and shorty headers for the customer's Illinois emissions testing. After that we built a different engine for it and we sold the first engine. It was worn but still made power. Below is a link to an article on this Corvette. Bob

The TTiX kit is solid and proven. I have one and have had no issues with it. Your HP goals are easily attainable, no belts to worry about, boost is adjustable. LPE is just about the same kit but way more expensive last time I checked.

I wasn't aware that they were that much alike. It certainly is more expensive!

Do NOT attempt the Hinson kit....

Go with the UPP (uppcos.com) turbo kit. Best one out on the market IMO, unless you really want to drop a heap of cash on the TTiX kit.

UPP seems to be an ok kit. They use some cheaper parts to make the kit more affordable. The major things I dont like about them is the turbo placement(inside front fenders) and they use and oil scavenge pump.

I am just waiting on all of my parts to get in and my single turbo setup will begin. See pm from Honda-head.

Upp kit works great I ran 6.1's@118 with the upp kit in my completely stock longblock ls2 07 vette. I ran their fuel system and turbo kit for over a year racing it very frequently with no issues what so ever. Their kit is def an option to consider!

Dyno #'s were 747/798 @13 psi

I've just finished the install of my UPP C5 kit. I've got probably 70% of the original kit intact, as I replaced what I didn't like or what didn't work for my personal likes. The kit itself in it's tuner'esque form is a decent setup. I just wanted more and made improvements with the kit and original smaller turbos. If I could do it again I would wait for a PTK kit to become available, then I'd choose the UPP based on pricing and potential. Here's are some in progress pics
