Default What's a good aftermarket oil pan set up

Seems like aftermarket oil pans are hard for find. Id like to find a 7qt. racing oil pan that includes everything and would clear under a 2002 F Body Trans Am. Its a 6.0 Iron block if that makes any difference.

Not sure if you can use front sump (complete noob here) but the Canton unit seems to be a great option.

Most, if not all require you to purchase their pick up tube and windage tray. Some also require you to relocate the oil filter. I understand the advantage of relocation, but added up, you've got almost a G into the setup. I'm liking the moroso setup, but would be happy with an upgraded pan that uses the stock windage and pickup tube.

If oil starvation is your concern, check out this baffle system for a stock pan:

Granted, you don't get the extra capacity you're after, but it does help with starvation.

Autokraft makes probably the most easy of all the aftermarket pans.

http://www.autokraft.org/products/

Scroll down once you click on it.

The moroso unit is popular and it works and can be had for between 6-700

The canton unit works too but there is all the stuff such as the billet oil filter mount which don't fit if you have bigger than 1 3/4 headers.

You will end up going to the relocation setup eventually if you use the Canton oil pan

autokraft is a nice piece and probably the cheapest option too.

You do know you posted a link for a pan to swap and LS1 into a 240sx.
