Surge tank? Single Bosch 440 or aeromotive 340 in tank to a twin Bosch o44 surge tank is my plan.

Depends on how good your tune is. Run a little leaner and keep timing in check...that'll bring your BSFC down. For tunes that many people consider safe, BSFC is much higher. I have seen as high as .78-.80 in some cases. Most of my boost tunes end up around .65-.68. Just depends on how much time you want to spend messing with it. Keep in mind there is no optimal BSFC though, as it is just a measure of fuel efficiency at max power output. But if you want to squeeze more power out of less injector/pump, lowering BSFC will help.

Ah I c. We'll that'll be left to my tuners hands. Whats you're opinion on dual 450's and my 127# injectors. What kind of power will they support on E85? I had one performance shop tell me I would need 4, walbro 450's to support 1000rwhp on E85 and ID2000 injectors. That seems a bit much to me

Lol @ 4 450s. They are advertised at over 900hp on gasoline. Even assuming an extra 50% e85 fuel volume, two of them are still good for over 1200hp on E85. Those 127lb injectors will be a problem before the pumps will. You'll probably be able to reach 1000 as long as you don't run it too rich.

Are those FIC 127s? They are 127lbs at 4 bar (58psi) not 3 bar.

If he is so good at engineering why buy a prebuilt tank in the first place? If your pump was making noise it was rubbing something and we would have fixed it. Been over this with him plenty.

It has been the same tank for 13 years we have hundreds if not thousands in use and happy customers. E85 is tough it requires ALOT more fuel volume and that kinda power levels you do not want to start with that much fuel pressure so volume is key. Feel free to give me a call I will help you spec your system properly.

Well I sold my bosch 127lb injectors and im going to order a set of FIC 2000's next week. So my fuel system will be twin walbro 450lph, -8 feed, -6 return, and FIC 2000S for E85. See how much power this beast will make. FIC did warn me to at least start the car once a week with the 2000s and E85 so they dont gum up and to keep me from having to send them in and clean em. Which shouldnt b an issue for me.

you won't gum up injectors with e85 in a weeks time period. If they sit around all winter you will, but if you drive it maybe once every month or so you will be fine.

Well thats good to hear. What do you do in the winter? Run the tank low and throw in some 93 and let it idle for awhile to reduce the ethanol content?
