its designed for a V-Band........
just buy a V-band for the Mild steel, and it clamps right to it just fine with no issues

The Turbosmart Race-port flange has a recess in it with an O-ring. Shoot me an e-mail to: huronspeedproducts@gmail.com and I should be able to get you set-up with one! Thanks!

the metal o-ring in the flange, is the the first thing I grind off......they never seal correctly and its a pain in the *** to line up...much easier to just use a flat surface v-band...and I've never had a flat surface v-band leak on me until they get old and you've re-used them a few times and they have stretched out of shape.

The Turbosmart is reversed from others. The o-ring sits down in the flange, doesn't have a raised surface that the o-ring sits around like others. In any event, if the OP needs the flange for his BOV, we can assist him!
