how many of you guys are running the microsquirt modified ecu and plug and play harness.

this looks like a nice setup for what im doing lq4 turbo with no frills ,400th,nova this looks like a no brainer for a guy wanting a simple way to wire and fire but I whould like to here some feedback.

this makes it look simple download tunerstudio and get a wideband and good to go.

thanks in advance.

I've run it before. It did great on my turbo lq4. But I'm stepping up to the holley hp setup for the data logging and alot more features. But if you want a cheap way to run a ls1 that the way to go. It took me about 30 minutes to hook the harness up and plug the ecu up and it cranked right up and idled . And I was out the same day doing burn outs . So you can't beat that!

I use microsquirt but build my own harnesses. Works like a champ without issue.

I have been running my Microsquirt (i did the mods & harness) on my 58x for almost a year now, Im very happy with it.

The plug-n-play looks very easy to use, but I would highly recommend that you do your own harness. That way you can get more of a custom fit but more important- you learn so much.

I went with the premodded microsquirt with the 8' pigtail. went thru denmahs how to micro page a few times and built my own harness. it turned out very nice . made it fit a preexisting hole in my firewall . took me about 6 or 8 hours to fit ,solider, and loom but I do understand it better now having built it. you really don't use very many wires and there is a good sized bunch you don't use that I just wrapped up and tied under my dash incase I need one. lol.

if you take your time read and understand what needs done before you start it is not hard and will save you some cash . I bought the micro, 8' harness, injector ev1 pigtails,an autozone fuse panel, and some wire . and cut a few pigtails for sencers of an old harness and have about $450.00 in it all. I haven't started the car yet but it will be soon.

If you go to my YouTube page there are several microsquirt vids including one that shows exactly how I ran my wires to simplify the layout.

I was looking through your YouTube channel, as seen where you use the ford relay boxes for your stand alones. I've actually found that the older Geo prism/storm/metro and a few other models have the same setup in the headlights and fan controls, but also have 4 fuses in them as well that I've been using for my stand alones.

Block off the IAC passage and use the throttle stop screw after engine is warm. Works fine. Then use cold startup timing setting to raise idle speed when it's cold.
