Default Advice and help

I cked in on the newbie section, and as I said there I am building a 51 chev PU truck. I've been toying with the idea of a LS motor in it so I thought it'd be pretty neat to run a turbo. I want something that makes a lot of power but streetable. The 5.3's seem to be more plentiful, and I was also considering blow through carb and using the MSD 6110, I think that's the right pt no. 3 spd auto, with a 3.42 or so gear. From what I can read the trk manifolds can be used, what about a intercooler? This is going to be budget as possible, and since this is a odd combination, old trk, I'll have to fab a bunch of stuff, but if I can swing it, it will be a cool ride. I drag raced for several yrs and had to quit so this thing may make a pass or 2 down the 1/4 mile. Something else is exh, what size and what's the best way out of a single turbo?
