The manifolds have a lot of steel in them. Many people don't even heat them without issues

from what I have seen no there is not much difference but they have no egr tube . and a lot of trucks have the tube.i can get the part number off some I have stashed in the garage if you need it.

That'd be great. I'm planning on mimicking your drivers side and saw that the express manifold might fit my nova where the truck one won't clear the steering box.

Any chance you might have gotten one of those part numbers?

I got a truck manifold w/egr from a buddy of mine and cut the tube inlet off and it's going to take quite a bit more cutting to fit in there.
Also, do you have manual steering? My steering box might be a lot different than yours if so.

the one I used on the left is a 12578342 it is close but does clear. I used stock mounts and built a torque limiter so it held firm. the manifold I cut for the pass side I a 12564154. they are stock on 3500 vans .

The manifold I'm currently cutting up is 12556335, an EGR truck and it just has a crazy amount of interference.
I'm hoping that express one hugs the block more.

What do you mean by stock mounts?
