Not a ton to report right now since I have been traveling for work and my block isn't back from being cleaned yet.
But when I mocked the kit on my junk motor I noticed the 38mm WG flange did not sit flush with the 38mm - 44mm WG adapter. In the picture below I have it pretty torqued down.
So after doing some reading here and there about possible boost creep people were seeing, although not a lot, due to the extra distance the WG adapter put the 44mm WG away from the cross-over piping, I decided to do a little fabricating. I cut the 38mm flanges off the adapter and the cross-over and welded on the V-band. Yes my welding is ugly, but it was effective.
Next on the list is to wrap the cross-over piping.
I do have a question someone might be able to answer for me though. Since I'm running a speed density tune is there any need to run O2's? Or can I plug those holes? I will be welding in a wide band bung into the down pipe though.

Just a quick update. I picked my block back up and so far have crank, rods and pistons installed.
I ordered my custom cam from Martin @ Tick on Tuesday the 15th. It was on my door step Friday the 18th. Comp is kicking these cams out fast right now.
I also sent my converter off to PTC to be redone last week. Once I get it back I should have everything I need for the build except for a boost controller. I just haven't decided if I want to go manual or electric yet.

Like I stated before, since I had everything out of the car I decided to do rebuild on the motor. So I had the block cleaned and checked and I started to rebuild it last night. So far I have only installed the crank. I plan on doing the pistons, rods and cam tonight.
Here is the block after I picked it up from being cleaned:
Here it is after I installed the main bearings and crank:
Here are the Scat Rods, Diamond Pistons, ARP Rod bolts and not pictured new Clevite bearings that I'll be installing tonight:
I still have not decided what color I want to paint my block. I'm thinking blue like the striped on my car, black, silver or don't paint it. What do you guys think?

I'm still very curious how this thing is going to do given such high compression. With such a high compression ratio, would it make sense to think that you'll need less boost to acheive the same HP/TQ that a lower compression engine would? If this turns out good for you, I may just keep my AI heads and run a turbo setup on my 11.5:1 compression engine.

Should respond very well with that compression.. I have a truck i tune on and it's a 11:7 compression forged 6.2 with L92's with a truck manifold on drivers side crossed over to log manifold on passenger side with a Precision T6 98mm @ 15psi roughly on E85 and it rolls out good for a 2 second ramp time on the Boost Leash.. Truck weigh's 4,600+ lbs and went 9.80's @ 143 on some shake down's first time out.
