F/I ATI question

I'm am sure you could fab up something, people do. You just have to figure out the cost difference of buying the headunit and a couple of intercoolers or one customer intercooler and see how much of a price difference to buy a full kit. ie: if it looks like you are going to save a whoping $500 you might as well buy the whole kit.

For me, if i wanted to go ATI, i could do it cheap, and just do the 8 rib SCE and steel bracket and do it right, but that is because i already own many of the high dollarparts. *(fuel system, ATI super dampener, and the ATI plenum/Intercoolers)
For average joe, unless you buy used aluminum brackets, and 6 rib setup, and can build an intercooler, your not going to be saving a lot of money.
if you can build your own intercooler, for cheap, then sure, you could do it a little under the price of the kits.
call around, you don't have to pay retail for the kits

I put mine together for 2k because I dropped the big bucks on the SD pulley setup.
my buddy copied me but used the ATI stuff and put his together for $1500
you can add an intercooler for around $600 so your still wayyyyyy under the cost people are paying for the pre-fab kit.
