bad ***!
Single 91mm turbo's are for pussies. Get two.
The final numbers are in....
At 7200 rpm (peak power), torque was 2105.2 ft-lb, and hp was 2886.0; torque remained over 1900 ft-lb through 7600, and power remained above 2700 hp through 7800. We would have liked to pull the engine a bit lower, but the dyno simply would not hold this kind of torque. I would imagine that torque at 6500 rpm would be in excess of 2250 ft-lb, but of course we have no real way of knowing for sure.
The new block held up beautifully! We put eight pulls on the engine last night and today that were above 2500 hp, not including some additional non-logged short pulls to correct fuel curves. In short, everything went absolutely as well as could have ever been expected. Normally with a new block with new design features such as this one, it's common to run into problems. Not so here!
Rodney will be tearing the engine completely apart this week and inspecting everything very thoroughly, and we will let everyone know how the insides of this thing look when we see them.

I believe they're old combo was a 42X cu in motor with twins that put them in the 6.70 range at 190+ in a 65 GTO. I saw it run at Maple Grove at last years "Pontiacs at the Grove" annual event (check it out this year!). When those 2 turbos spooled it made the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Rodney was quoted as saying he couldn't see the finishline because it was shaking the tires so much,...at 180+.
