Default Twin 6262 69 Camaro update

Well guys I finally got the beast up & running. Converter slipping badly so thats coming back out & getting replaced. So far only makes around 585rwhp on low boost (8-9psi). Carl (CJTunes) thinks it will make over 800rwhp once I get a good multi-disc converter and crank up the boost.

My old build thread here:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...ds-pics-4.html

Here's a few short clips on low boost.

Have you by chance missed a running appointment with Carl? I'm thinking this is the car that couldn't make one appt and allowed me to get my car in on a moments notice! Lol car looks great! I'd like to see it around next season.

Did you buy those manifolds from a company with the vbands on them, or did you modify a pair of stockers with the vbands? just curious, they fit great upside down facing forward.

Very impressive work, your attention to detail is great.

Thx man. I modded the stockers and had them ceramic coated locally.

I don't either, although I already have no traction whatsoever, even with a tuned triangular 4 link and 335 tires.

Nice looking ride. Carl tuned my twin turbo set up as well. Very impressed with his skills. I have not dynoed it yet hopefully in the spring I can get it on some rollers.

Yeah Carl comes highly recommended...and I see why. Very sharp attention to details.

What other mods do you have? is it me or does 585RWHP on 9lbs seem low for twins? on the previous setup my twin T61's made around 730 on a stockish LQ4

Yeah I have a low line pressure problem in the trans. Past 4500rpm is just blowing right through the converter, so losing a lot of hp there.

Otherwise...all forged, custom grind TT cam, lunati dual springs, LS6 intake, ported TB..all the usuals.

Oh yeah, Carl (tuner) says it will make over 800rwhp easy. We'll go to 17-18psi once I get the trans fixed. It has twin 044s, -10 line, 1000cc injectors etc..
