Default is boost all the same?

so I finally got my 67 nova and been driving it for the last few day. When I got it it made around 18 psi. It friggen rips pretty good. I have it turned down to 14 now and obviously it still runs hard for a street car. My question is based on the ching chong on3 7681 turbo on it is like everyone warned is already leaking oil so I just got a bw475/87/1.0 to replace it.. the two questions I have is should it make the same power at the same boost? I am hoping to pick up something for the better designed compressor wheel even thow its just a cast wheel and by a better flowing and designed ex side. What do you guys think?
motor is 4.8, ls6 cam, 243 heads, blow through csu 750 on race gas, water meth(comes in at 10psi), 20* 6010 tune.

Better flowing comp and turbine housing on the Borg Warner. If you didn't make more power at same boost level Something is wrong. Did you get the t4 or t6?

Between two different turbos, you'll almost never make the same power at the same boost.

Boost is not same from turbo to turbo. Its all about airflow and how much the turbo flows.

Generally, the larger and more capable the turbo, the more power per psi it will make.

All boost is not the same from turbo to turbo. but i would like to see the difference from a 300 dollar turbo against a bw or garrett.
