No, I was more or less planning on teeing it in post mechanical pump so it won't back feed through the system. The mechanical is going to need to be fed from a bottom sump on the tank. Mechanicals don't pull very well so you have to gravity feed them to help prevent cavitation, that's why it's recommend mounting them as low as possible. I'm going to be running two feed lines to the front. One -10 to feed the mechanical and one -6 priming line and have a single -10 return from the big space shuttle regulator back to the tank.

That's not a bad idea. The way i've been told it can be done is Y'd in pre mech pump.
