Well finally blew the stock 200k+ mile ls1 in the car a few months back. Wasn’t going to pull the motor without putting g a turbo k member in the car. I don’t think you can run a proper truck manifold kit without one unless your down pipe goes out a fender. So I purchased a BMR turbo K A arms. I was just going to throw my L33 in and rebuild the 4l60 and get a converter for it. Well the day before my 4l60 converter comes in and a couple hours after I ordered a torque arm/4l60 crossmember I finally get talked out of building the 60e. I knew it would be dumb to build it but I just wanted to get the car back on the road. So now I am getting a th400 so i won’t have to worry about rebuild an expensive and week transmission all the time.

Got 99% of the under dash wires out. Still have to get the connector out on the drivers side firewall. I will be making a new body harness for the car.

Got pretty much everything out of the engine bay. Going to cut the cowl back and install manual brakes/steering delete HVAC completely for increased room and weight reduction.

Engine bay is a mess. Have a bunch of stuff clean up in there. Bought 4 spot weld cutters to help remove all the brackets on the inside of the car. Probably going to be a couple months before I can start putting it back together.
