Default nova intercoolers

Hey just curious how big ICS u guys have in some of the novas out there. Have a 71 I'm gonna try to shovee a 31 x12 x 3 in her. Thanks alot

I'm running a 25x14x3.5 on mine and took a little hacking of the support.

It will fit but you will have to mid mount it in the core support, half in front of core, half behind. If you weld alum 45's or 90's to the ends it will be a little easier.

Like the others have said, a little (or lot) of trimming to the core support and you can fit a decent size air-to-air in front of the radiator.

I cut the bottom out of my front radiator support:


Then stuffed a Treadstone dual inlet/single outlet intercooler fitting just between the frame rails. 9" tall and 3" thick was pretty much the limit for me:

have a 31x12x3 on my 68. its tight and u have to a bit of trimming to some things but it fits with the radiator in the stock location. have to trim the hood latch support and a little of the back side of the bumper filler to make it even with the grill.
