The complete i-1 system weighs approximately 40 pounds more than a P-1SC or D-1SC system.

Whats the upper power limits of the I-1? Any plans to make it lighter? 40lbs over a conventional supercharger is a lot of weight!

The i-1 ProCharger is designed for both stock and modified applications, and supports up to 900 flywheel horsepower. Smaller and lighter than both intercooled positive displacement supercharger and twin turbocharger kits, the award-winning i-1 ProCharger is available as a tuner kit or 100% complete system.

So which non-i1 compressor is similar to the i1? Is it basically a d1sc or f1 with an electronic clutch?

Does it share a volute or compressor wheel with any of your other blowers?

Ah, thank you. I didn't scroll down, just went and looked at the systems under LS1 f-bodies. Any plans for an f-body kit or would it be possible to convert say a D1SC kit with the i-1?

ProCharger is not planning on offering the i-1 for the older vehicles, at least not as the present time. As a vehicle gets older, sales of ProChargers dwindles for them, and these systems are very expensive to create specific model kits for. I'm not sure there would be room in a 4th gen f body to locate the added size of the i-1's head unit. Thanks. Bob
