Default N20 to Boost conversion. Parts have started coming in..

So far I have received:
(2) PT6768 with ported H anti-surge housings / .96 exhaust
(2) PW46 Waste gates
(1) Eboost 2 controller

I am waiting on:
(2) Bell 10" x 16" x 4.5" cores
(1) XS 50mm BOV

This will be feeding my current 418" but in lower compression form.. It has:
PRC 237 heads
Ported Super Vic
Meziere EWP
Moroso Vacuum pump

In current form it has made 521rwhp NA through a 4,500rpm stall and powerglide and has moved the truck a best of 10.54 on motor at 3,300lbs (It really needed more converter for motor). The bottle has been somewhat problematic and I always wanted to go boost. So, here we go..

I will take pics as I start fabing things up.

Looking for some input..

Does orientation of the turbo matter? For instance, can I stand the inlet straight up with the exhaust straight down? Or even put the inlet on a 45* causing the exhaust out to be at a 45* facing down towards the ground and firewall? Or does it have to lay flat so the shaft is loaded evenly?

I know my current 13-1cr is not real boost friendly and I need to go down in compression. I would like to start fabing everything before I swap the piston so I can make one last trip with the bottle when it warms up. In the event I am still at 13-1, would it be a huge issue to fire it and take it around the block with say a 7lb spring? This would be on E85 with very large intercooler. I would not plan on WOT.

I have an old set of Hooker 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 with 3.5" High Velocity Merge collectors. I am thinking about cutting up these headers and using the collector and possibly some of the 1 7/8 bends. Then using a 3.5" reducer all the way down to some Columbia River Mandrel 2.5" to T4 adapters.

Attached are pics of the engine bay, I'd like to get others input on placement of the turbos. Right now I am planing on putting them over the control arms with the outlet of the exhaust pointed towards the motor/firewall so I can try and pass a 3" between the motor and frame rail to tie it in to my existing 3" X-pipe. I can not run the exhaust on the outside of the frame rail as there is 2x3 square tube running from the frame to the pich welds and the cage sits on that 2x3 tube.
