Default whats everyone's thought on single or twin turbo?

Build is going to be set up for daily driving with very minimal track racing/drag strip. Forged L33, LS6 intake, built 4L80E, Moser 12 bolt, Custom spec'd cam.

I'm looking at either a single PT7675 ball bearing ceramic turbo or twin PTE 6265s. I have a friend that has been building turbo set ups in his garage for BMW and said he would do all the turbo piping work for a good price. He personally has a mid-late 80s BMW E30 pushing 400+rwhp.

My overall goal is to be somewhere in the ballpark of 1200 crank hp and 850-900 rwhp.

It's up to you and what your looking for. I like both single and twins but it's a lot cheaper to go single unless you go with Chinese turbos. You can buy a S475 for $650 that's good for 1,000HP or S480 that is 1,250HP capable and $950 or go with twin that would costs $2500-$3000. I went with the S475 that is capable of 800+rwhp and only costs me $650, which was in my budget.

Is there any difference in lag between a single or twins? I won't be doing anything cheap.

Plain and simple I want the most efficient and powerful set up on a relatively decent budget. I don't want to go spend $30k by any means but I can do $15k-$18k for the entire build up.

I should probably add that his will be run on 91 octane (highest where I live)

Do a google search on pros and cons. All you'll get here are people arguing about which is better.

If you are looking for 1200rwhp i would do twins. Better packaging and faster spool. If you do no AC and turbo k it will be easy to run the exhaust out the back. Truck manifolds and a twin kit will be my next project.

Either will work great . It depends on how much money you want to spend. and room for parts. . I've had both. Either will work with the right combo.

in terms of budget I want to keep it on the cheap side but not lack quality. My current plans consist of a forged L33, LS6 intake, 1500hp capable 4L80E, Moser 12 with wavetrac, and I'm considering either a single PT 7675 ball bearing turbo with custom built plumbing, or a granetelli twin set up with PTE 6265s

That being said, Single turbo plumbing would be built by me and a friend opposed to buying a $10k granetelli twin turbo system
