Didn’t the L33’s have an LS6 spring (or the equivalent) installed? The cam is very similar.

L33 cam is not like the LS6 cam. Not even like an LS1 cam. Springs were nothing special

It's worked out well for me in a few builds and my customers seem pretty happy with it.

The later 243 and 799 heads seem to have stiffer springs. They test about right with a LS6 spring. 25 lbs seat and 50 lbs open over the older 05 down 4.8-6.0 springs.
