turbo sizing on a high hp 408 stroker setup
hey guys so im building a new setup for the shop truck and looking for input. im going with a 408 bottom end to get this heavy truck out of the hole, its a RCSB 01 silverado. 4l80e AWD setup, truck is all wheel drive all the time, Built 10 bolt rear (auburn locker) and 3.42 gears. The 4l80e is built with a 3800 stall convertor. as far as the motor goes its an iron block 6.0 bored .030 with a TSP 408 stroker kit with eagle rods w/ arp2000 bolts, callie crank, weisco -15cc pistons w/ upgraded wrist pins, custom ground turbo cam and ls3 heads and intake manifold, Aeromotive rails and A1000 pump and regulator. Im looking for a nice sized single turbo preferably of the borg warner variety that can feed and support 850+ rwhp. also what size injectors do you guys think, will 80's cut it with a meth kit to supplement it? my plan was borg warner s480 w/ 96x87mm Turbine with 1.32 T6 Exhaust
im hoping for big power so let me know if you guys would change anything as far as wastegate and blow off ive already got a tial q 50mm blow off and an MVR 44mm wastegate and a spearco 31x12.5x4" interocooler w/ 3" piping
