The race valves come with either a steel or aluminum flange (depending on what type of tubing you have) that has to be welded into the tubing. Bob

I'm wondering if my proflo is leaking boost. Even with it closed, I know air can flow around the valve.

Unless the airgap is very wide when in the closed position, it generally doesn't affect boost. Bob

I've decided to stay with the black proflo for now and use the money for other mods ,like changing from 3.73 gears to 3.31 for the 12 bolt that's going in over the winter.

I get more noise from my F1c than I do from the big red BOV....

The noise you hear is the supercharger....not the BOV...lol
